Effective sun protection
After application I find that my skin is not too greasy unlike some sun sprays.I have never had sunburn after having used this product but I am very careful with my application, trying to get full skin coverage.Some of the competitor products cause me to have skin irritation and I find that I have no problems with Ambre Solaire products but would always wash them off before going to bed.This is my preferred sun protection cream and I am happy recommend and will be buying again.

SPF50!
Sun cream. It must work, as I’ve just come back from a week in the Alps and I’m not burnt to a crisp!I can’t say how water resistant it is as I didn’t get wet, but it certainly kept my skin safe from the sun at altitude.

Great sun cream but stains clothes
Used in Mexico in 30c heat for two weeks, and didn’t burn at all. It’s a great sun block, but be careful when wearing clothes even hours after applying, it stays on the skin and will leave white marks on dark clothes, and yellow marks on white!

Good sun protection

A good Suncream
This is a good Suncream during the British summertime as it isn’t too greasy and doesn’t leave any heavy feeling on my skin. Is good for dry skin types as it is quite moisturising so i wouldn’t recommend to those who tend to be more oily. Very water resistant but does leave a weird feeling on the skin after getting wet so would recommend more to those who stay clear of water.

Clearly greasy
It’s very greasy, you can only wear this at the beach maybe but you’ll have to be careful where you sit or what you touch as it will leave oily residue marks whenever your skin touches any surface (like a chair, your car…). They really shouldn’t advertise this as “non greasy”.For the price point I would say it is still not bad given the amount of protection/water resistance but don’t expect to be able to wear this every day, especially if you’re going to spend time indoor because it has too much fragrance.

Just perfect for the sun
I bought this product as I’ve used it on countless times to which it is just right for me as I’m photo sensitive to the sun. However to the product, it’s easy to apply, it’s non greasy. but most of all it does as it advertises. Keeps you safe in the sun as long as you apply frequently. A very good sunscreen product that is very good value for money

Great sunscreen
Thick but not sticky or gross feeling. Great protection, but only problem is that it creates a somewhat grey hue on skin, so would be cautious if you are darker. I just wiped away any residue to deal with that.

Must have!!!
SPF is essential for everyday not just in Summer!! This sunscreen has SPF 50 which provides good protection for your skin and has a slight tint so it doesn’t leave a ghostly white caste on your face. It’s also not too sticky – I have oily skin so it’s hard to find SPF that doesn’t make my face shiny. Definitely would recommend

Excellent and highly functional just right amount of protection and application highly recomend
I was looking for something a little moisturing and that smelt pleasant without the checmical smell that some factor 50 creams have as I wanted it for my face rather than body. Both me and my husband are now using this daily its really good value as its a decent size. I use it as an under make up high factor face cream is nice and emolient from the shea butter but not too creasy sinks in in minutes and like many high factors starts of with a white film but this one disapears very quickly and just makes my skin look radient not greasy so its good for daily wear as I just dont trust make ups that say they are high factor included in them, i bet Im not alone either. The bottle is a good shape too for shoving in my bag to go to the beach or away for the day ( if we ever get back out) Its not too big and secure on top. My husband ruinned his skin last year to the point he had to go to hospital so has bad sun damage so he must protect his skin now he us using this without moaning and daily too so its working out a good buy for us. I would definatley recomend this to anyone it has a faint smell but its a clean smell not annoying chemical smell.

non-greasy, pleasant consistency and scent
I generally have ‘normal’ skin, however, with many suncreams I become greasy, this leads to makeup melting off and reapplication. This suncream has an excellent formula and I haven’t dealt with any excess grease on my face (other than the expected tiny amount from having a product on your face). It also isn’t drying, its comfortably moisturising. It gives a slight glow and softness to the skin without being overbearing and sweaty-looking. As for sun protection, I don’t tend to burn easily, but the sun cream reduces redness and the slight burning sensation on the skin, whilst still letting my skin tan evenly. I haven’t had much of an opportunity to test the water resistance but among the other great qualities of this product, I can’t believe that it would be terrible in that area.I don’t have skin allergies or sensitivity, so I can’t speak much on that, although the formula is very soothing, moisturising and simple. There are no harsh scents, it has a pleasant, light smell (whereas most have that harsh suncream-stench), this means it will probably reduce irritation for those that deal with it lots.Overall, I think it would make a very good staple in anyones skincare routine, its cheap, basic and perfect formula for the face and body. It’s cruelty free too!Hope this helps! 🙂

All my life I have had pale skin, I burn every year without fail. Whether it is because I spontaneously end up on a day out during summer, if I put sun cream on but end up being in sun too long or just me being an idiot and wanting to ‘get a bit of colour’. For people like me slightly burning and going red is about the only colour I can get that isn’t paper white. Finally at 35 years old, I see the dangers of skin cancer having hit members of my family. I see the damage it has actually done to my face around my nose and cheeks.I just got back from a 2 week cruise around the caribbean, I bought this for £6 I believe and it is exactly the same as the one in Asda that cost £10 (I actually compared product codes and everything).I wore this pretty much any time I went around one of the islands or hanging around the top deck, swimming pool/hot tubs on sea days. I didn’t get burned at all. I wouldn’t say I lay it on that thick either, enough that I feel like it has covered the skin with a very thin layer. It lasts for hours. You can go swimming in pools or the sea and it still works. Trust the king, it was literally 30 degrees basically every day out there and as most people joke when I got back “did you even go on holiday/out in the sun?!”The glorious answer is yes I did, so I would definitely recommend this product to any ghostly pale people out in the world like me, buy it cheap on amazon and enjoy the sun!

A little goes a long way, doesn’t feel greasy or sticky.
So I just rated Sun protection as 5/5, because I feel whilst wearing this, it’s literally impossible to tan. Anything lower would have just been me being salty about not getting a tan.I didn’t rate the water resistance, as the moment it started raining I was packed up and inside before the second drop hit me. I showered afterwards but didn’t go back in the sun, so I’m unable as yet to accurate rate water resistance. Sorry.Scent I gave a solid 5/5. When I was a kid suntan lotion smelled nasty. Of course my mom always applied it and she was cheap as (insert favorite expletive) so honestly, it could have been a blend of baby oil, calomine lotion, vicks vaporub and tcp which was the standard go to for anything from a bad belly to a small graze. I’m not sure why it was applied topically for a belly ache but by the teaspoon for a cut, but I digress. This does not have ANY smell whatsoever that I could tell, again though, unless I’ve lost my sense of smell in which case I apparently have bigger problems.A small pea sized drop will go a fair distance, and a big handful will cover a leg or two, it doesn’t feel nasty or leave you feeling like every ounce of pollen in the air is going to adhere to you, it’s white so you can see how well the coverage is (if you already have a tan though, I’m not so sure if I didn’t have a tan if I’d have been able to see it because my natural skin color is pretty much the same shade of white).Seems to do what it says it’ll do. Haven’t been out in the sun for more than an hour at a time, and thanks to the current situation was unable to go test the 24 hour sun protection claim.

Haven’t burnt using this
Tried / tested brand . Medium to thick creamy lotion so use sparingly , rub in then repeat as the cream takes ages to rub in if you initially over use . I have skin that can go red and burn but this has actually prevented this . I use a SPF50 on my face but this lotion is great for body . Don’t forget a generous amount on your feet if you are wearing sandals .
