Why Do Children Need a Special Sunscreen?
It takes time for kids to fully develop and build natural defences against UV radiation from the sun, and experts believe that melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, is directly related to severe sunburns in childhood before the age of 20. How To Apply Sunscreen On Children

Great for kids but expensive!
This is a great sun cream and my son finds it easy to apply himself, but it’s so tiny that it runs out quickly. Such a shame that it can’t be refilled or come in a larger size as it’s so expensive for what it is. Come on Nivea do something about this!

easy to put on
pros: really easy to put on, the cream just rolls off and then can be rubbed into the skin. we bought more and happy with them.cons: lotion still needs to be rubbed in (but it rolls on much easier than a stick, so tradeoffs). sometimes if not used in a couple days, the ball gets stuck with dried lotion and takes some time to force move it to re-lubricate the ball and be able to apply again.

The only sunscreen my kid will wear
My son has extremely sensitive skin, and this is the only sunscreen he likes/that doesn’t give him a rash. I bought a knock-off one from Aldi thinking it would be ‘exactly the same’ (as so many knock offs are) but he broke out in a splotchy red rash all over his face within half an hour of application. He loves applying this himself with the roller (he’s 4 years old). It’s long lasting, too, as I often only do one application – he’s very fair skinned and we’ve not had any burns

My husband uses this every day, 365 days a year. He has dry red skin on his forehead that looked like psoriasis but turned out to be sun damage. Using factor 50 cream daily protects his skin from the sun and he no longer has red skin.. couldn’t be without this roll on kids version of suncream. Easy to put on. Great stuff.Highly recommended

Highly recommend
Just ideal for little ones to have in their school bag and for them to apply themselves at school. It’s nice and small and easy for them to use with enough product coming out from the roll on. I have put a name sticker on my child’s too so that he doesn’t lose it. This protects very well from the sun and is long lasting. Highly recommend and I will be buying more for putting in other bags and places as it’s a perfect size.

Easy to use for kids
The roll-on design is so convenient and easy to use for little ones. My kids are very happy to put it in their bags and apply when needed. No spray all over the dress, no mess up. Only concern is that the price is almost 4 times higher than those with spray bottle when not in a deal.

I’m sure you get less in the bottle but this is so easy to use and you probably are more economical because it rolls straight onto where you need it. Bought for using on my toddler daughter and you don’t have to spray their face and can make a game out of it. Good stuff

Handy!

This is so much better for my son to apply to his own skin …
Where has this been all my life??? This is so much better for my son to apply to his own skin than squeezing sun cream out of a bottle and getting it everywhere. I was applying suncream in the morning and he took a bottle to school but I soon found out that there was zero supervision or checks on their application and most days, he couldn’t get it out of the bottle, so didn’t apply any. This takes all of those issues away as it rolls on easily and then they can just rub it in. They probably miss bits but this is way better than nothing at all. The suncream itself seems to be clear and soaks in well. I really love this product and will definitely buy it again.

More like 4 1/2 stars due cost but it works a treat
The bottle is small and you get less cream for your buck but the convenience factor is top notch. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, both very active lads. Trying to cream them up can be tricky but the ball on this works well and it must feel nice as both of them let us put it on, and put it on properly. Obviously its for their protection so for the ease and effectiveness of the product I will definitely always keep one in the holiday bag, but not use it all the time.
